So here it goes the pics from the first day I got this fish. Feels like I haven't seen it since lol.

Best full shot I got too bad the flash ruined it.

Blurry but can see a little of the purple hue and the chimple I didn't notice when I bought the fish.

Same description as the last pic.

Best and clearest body shot.

This fish is a little shy. She spends a lot of time hiding. Drags food back to her spot when I feed her in general not really a good pet. As the days go by she gets better and better. Its been almost 3 weeks and the going is slow but at least she is eating. As soon as she warms up enough to swim freely all the time, these pictures are all I have. She is pretty much 5" on the dot.

i've heard you can get better shots at night with your flash off but your tank lights on. That way flash doesn't ruin your shot. nice pick up

Yeah that usually works. Its really hard to get her to come out when the tank lights are on though.

I found out that she'd chase a laser like a cat or dog would. After a few dozen drinks over the weekend a friend of mine took my cats laser pointer and flashed it around in the tank and the piranha went nuts chasing it around.

BTW thanks everyone.

fish can see red so that's why they respond to laser and it's moving it like chasing moving target.
just be careful as most laser pointer probably has class 3R or 3B laser in them (cheapest laser diodes out there are usually in the class 3R or 3B power range) so you don't wanna shine it on fish's eye or catch a reflection back from the glass.
