Pics from recent Gulf trip

Everytime I get down there its harder and harder to leave. The fishing is beautiful and the women are good...or is it the other way around?!

Anyway, the snaps came up easy and we limited out. Here is one I brought back home to Louisville. The pomps were a blast from the beach pier. I caught 5, and broke two off. Not bad for only bringing 12 baits!

Havent cooked any yet. Im debating on how to deal with the pompano tonight. Was going to grill them but no propane and I dont have a charcoal (please dont take my man card) grill.

The snapper will be blackened. I just may blacken the pomps tonight and fry the snapper....damn I already wish I was down there getting more. Too bad a fellow MFKer down there blew me off and didnt let me show her a good time fishing! haha

where was the port you left from to go deep sea? Panama city has some really good spots the captain kelley is a good boat.

The shot of the boat going out is from the 3-mile bridge over the Pensacola Bay from Pensacola into Gulf Breeze. We launched our boat in the sound on the Gulf Breeze side aboout 8 miles from the pass. Ours spots were all within 10 miles of shore. Snapper season isnt open in federal waters yet and Florida's waters extend 12mi offshore.
