Love the turtle!! I just saved one today...it was trying to cross the road so i stopped in the middle of traffic (its amazing how many horns can go off at once...sounds kinda kewl) and grabbed it and put it in my car. Then I took it to a bayou and let it go where there were tons of turtles ( was bout 8 miles away from where i found it). Along the way though it decided it didn't want to be rescued and tried to find a way out of my car. Took me almost an hour to find the little bugga, UNDER my backseat. Don't know HOW it got them, but it did. So yeah.

I can get live crayfish for $2.99 a pound I think...one of the perks about being in the South. Perhaps I should look into that to feed to Herbert...never tried feeding her crayfish. Might be scared of them...haha.

Thanks I love this turtle I found mine in a sewer area of the creek. And my turtle is real funny trying to get the crayfish just make sure you take the pinchers off.
 
The perch is beautiful but that turtle is too much!! What a sweet turtle...:D
