great looking natural angel tank. this is the way it is in thier habitat. I would add some branches from the top but the tank looks great.

Thanks! That means alot coming from you, i've seen pictures of your discus tank on here and it is stunning!

I had been thinking to add some branches in the way you suggested, gonna give that a try.

are you losing many cardinals to the angels? How do the bristlenose get along with the phantoms. Also, what size tank and how many of each pleco do you have?

It is a 38 gallon tank 3'x12"x20" Haven't lost any cardinals to the angels yet touchwood. Angels not really showing any interest in eating them. Made sure the cardinals were a good size when introduced. THe first batch was in the tank before the angels and no problems. THe second batch came after. When I started to put them in the tank the angels went for them. I actually started dropping food into the tank to stop the hunting and that did the trick. I knew it would be a gamble and went in knowing that, but so far so good.

I have one bn pleco and one green phantom. The bn was there well before the phantom and did not give him a warm welcome and has been rough on him since. It's kinda interesting to watch a pleco come to life to go after another pleco compared to their usual sloth like behaviour of just sitting there doing nothing. The bn actually is on it's way out because it is just a pain. Ate all the amazon swords in a planted tank, should've known better. But now is actually eating the oak leaf litter. I've got a soft spot in my heart for him, but enough is enough
