Nice fish, but your tank is over stocked, and I wouldn't add any more. Stuffing a lot of CA cichlids in a small tank will only lead to dead fish.

The 1 fish per 7 gallons rule is rubbish. Fish need room and over stocking can lead to poor water quality and health problems.
The problem w/ CA cichlids will be aggression problems when they get bigger. Your tank will work for a while, but you might want to up grade in the future.
I really like your aquascaping BTW.

i read that you can add up to 1 fish per 7 gallons of water in your tank

Wherever you read that rule, completely disregard it. According to that rule, in a 7 gallon tank I could have an red tailed cat fish. According to that rule, in 70 gallons of water I could have ten arowanas. There is no definitive one size fits all rule for keeping fish. Keep a couple of 3-6 inch fish in a 55, meaning 2-3.

i remember reading a book that said a jack dempsey needs about 20 gallons of space in a 55 at 3 inches, and at 6-8 inches it will take the whole tank as its own
