I just watched 3 14-16 inch lmbs eat 40 small feeder goldfish, my two favorite sound kinda like arapaima when they suck something off the surface. My female has a wierd shaped mouth, like she's mostly head so it's really big and wide and she likes to eat mostly off the top so she'll get right under a frog or goldfish and i swear if you closed your eyes, you'd think i had foot long arapaimas in there
It took about a minute of them sitting around the edge of the crystal shelf and zipping in and sucking up a goldy, or three
I come back from the waterfall section and the female's half outa the water in the shallowest part and sucking up a tiny goldy hahahahahaha
my hand looks giant because of the camera, they could eat my fingers no problem
I also built a small kind of skimmer and covered it with a piece of slate and the way the wind blows and current flows, i rhymed lol, it blows all the things on the top into there for easy collection
