These are the F1 Rio Bobos. Starting to color up at 3". It was hard to get good solo pics of them as my other cichlds wanted the attention lol. Especially the last pic the big fat one lol.

Deppi are cool fish. Keep an eye on them as they start to mature. In my experience, they are hard on one another. I've tried unsuccessfully to grow out groups a couple of times. In both cases, I ended up with a single male.
Yeah I definitely will. I had one male that was one nasty fish. Easily dominate over that syn that was more than double his size.
They say only 5-6" but I had a male that was much bigger, closer to 8".
Here is a pic of that big male. Fin coloration is different, but there is no variations in this species.
