Hey guys,

I got out of the hobby about a year ago and really missed it, so just jumped back in with a 300g. 72"x30"x36". White acrylic stand. I'm going with a freshwater tank but trying to capture a saltwater look-- what do you think?. Nothing real aggressive in there; two most interesting fish so far are 10" stingray and 20" clown knife.

Very interesting, I don't think I've ever seen a tank quite like that.
I really like it, and the clown knife looks great!

That is one odd tank. The dimensions and the setup is different. but It doesn't look bad. But I bet you're going to get alot of people over to your place that think it is salt.

humm...i'm not feelin it...if u wanna go for a salt water look, then u need to have way more live rocks and corals (real or fake). but i still think fresh water fish belong to a fresh water setting.
anyhow, the set up looks good

are those tinfoil barbs? if so watch out theyre notorious for eating the slime coat off rays
