just added some more java moss, today. My saggitarus and pennywort are growing in pretty nicely. I also have a java fern and a small anubias in there. Hope you enjoy my photos!

I risk site-wide condemnation by telling you this, but the tank has a footprint of 24" by 8.5" and holds about 8 gallons of water. As soon as I get me a good sized tank I will move my senegal to that, and I'll use this tank to breed shrimp and guppies/feeders.

Yes that is some algae on the sand. Is this something I should be worried about? My mts usually get around to clearing up most of it. I'm also hoping that the extra java moss will help out-compete algaes, as well as helping out with biological filtration. Also, I have it on a 12 hour light cycle right now... I suppose it might be better to reduce the lighting period?

Actually that is not algae it is cyanobacteria. I don't think MTS eat it either.

I was afraid of that. What do I to about the blue-green algae? More water changes (I do a wc every 2-3 days)? Less light?

Haha yea it's pretty small. I think I made good use of the limited space though. The tank looks bigger than it is.

Update! a few more photos... the tank has really filled out with plants, and the stock is completely new.
