here are some pics of my red tail that ive had for a month now it was about 10inch when i got him he is about 12inch now he hand feeds great red tail and fins

Thats a good looking rtc. I want another one bad but I wont get one until I get atleaste 600 gallon. I had a 24" in a 240 and that tank was way to small for that fish, but good lookin RTC

Looks like it's about to lose the white spots in front of the dorsal fin. Mine is losing his also.

amazing specimen bro. perfect finnage and dark rich colours on the body too. reminds me of my biggest. everyone sez that RTCs shud lighten in colour as they grow old but mine hasnt yet. ures shud probably stay as beautiful as it is now keep up the good work.

On the contrary unless it's an ancient rtc I think they only get brighter colors as the grow older. Big rtcs have the most color I think.
