Pics Of My Tire Track

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You can tell in the last picture that this one is pretty thick. It's hard to get good pictures when they hide so much, lol, but these are some nice close ups.

Because she doesn't even come out for feeding.

When I remove that rock and some others, however, when my new driftwood is sufficiently waterlogged to actually sink and be held down, then I will (hopefully) be able to get some nice, full length pics of her :)

That's basically all she will eat. Also, that's all I've few my previous ones (one of which got to over 33"). Have tried beef heart before, but they just ignore it.

I bet it wouldn't turn it's nose up if you dumped a 1/4 pound of California live blackworms in there. I've also held a cube of blood worms in my hand underwater in front of their burrow. After awhile the water thaws it out and it comes apart. If it's too shy to eat from your hand they'll still drift over to where it's hiding/lurking. In about a week or two of consistent feedings at roughly the same time of day they stop being a big baby and my hand is associated with food.

Oh both my TT and Fire are both hand fed - no hesitations there :) I've had ones that would actually let me pet/stroke them (my large TTs) without swimming away. My Fire is out a lot in the evening, but the TT, as big as she's getting, is still pretty shy.
