Here are some pics of my male that I got from Ken Davis. I purchased him at about 1.5" in July. He is now 8" total length, a very fast grower and voracious eater. He is in a 90g with a female and divider. He is too mean to spawn yet but hopefully that will change in time. This guy is my absolute favorite. Hope you enjoy him too!

Correction - I received the trimacs from Ken on Jun 17 not quite July but pretty close. I attribute his growth to a good diet and daily water changes. Ken can confirm when he shipped the fish for any doubters.

Thanks, his tail was split in a squabble with the female when he was smaller. It used to bug me but I kinda think it adds character now. I have considered cutting it and letting it grow back but have no experience doing this so decided against it.

many thanks. I know his growth will slow down soon but my goal is to get him big, like 15" big . I think if I continue the WCs, it is definitely possible.

Nice! The split has actually turned out pretty even, I for some reason like it.
