Been awhile since I've shown any updates of my tank, so I figured today would be a good day. Since getting rid of my Oscars, I removed all of the gravel and replaced it with pool filter sand to better accomodate my Carpintis. He seems to like sifting through sand better than through gravel bigger than his head. I also added a baby Gold Saum (GT subspecies) who is about 1.5" and they seem to be getting along swimmingly (SHA-ZAM!). And finally, the big change was the addition of a brand new Marineland Penguin 350 filter. It's been in the tank for less than a day and the water is already crystal clear. Anyways, I'll stop the yacking and get to the very few pics I have.

Sorry. I'm no photographer. Future plans include a new aerator, live plants, a new heater, and probably another couple rocks. Let me know what you guys think! :D

As you can see, the Carpintis is a bit more camera-friendly than my GT. Probably the GT's young age. Anyways, enjoy!
