I'm working on getting the cloudiness down. These guys love to eat. That crab is a blue crab and tonight is his last night in my tank. He is going in a display tank for a class that I am taking tommorow. He is getting his own tank!

Any input will be appreciated. I like the set up, and better pics will come soon!

The only problem I see is the cloudiness. The fish look great. That crab looks pretty big as well.

Yea the cloudiness is going down. The good thing about my close to 2000gph total water circulation is that the chemicals needed to get the cloudy water down take mintues instead of hours to work. HAHA, I added SeaChem Clarity double dose and it was through the system in about an hour. It used to take 4 hours for that to happen with the old set up of the tank. Cloudiness is going down.

My puffers eat well, and your archer is going to be fat once he joins the tank. Everything eats well in my tank. I picked up some frozen krill in the flatpack today and it is so much nicer than the freeze dried stuff, and my fish agree with me! The freezedried stuff is going to my blue crab tank in class because the crab will eat anything. Including gobies, needlefish, flounder, killies, guppies, silversides, and fiddler crabs.

It's good to see a fellow brackish tank keeper. But I see some future problems if you are going to keep those fish. It looks like you have a datnoid in the tank. The mollies and the fish smaller than the mollies will be fodder for the datnoid, and eventually the columbian shark.

Your puffer may also decide to start taking chunks out of your fish and apparently they have good taste! Mine would chew only on the catfish. But if you keep them well fed, they should be ok, they seem to like full bellies ALL the time!

You have a lovely tank. I cannot see how many of each you own, but my scats are definately schoolers. I believe the mono is a schooler as well, but with it's own kind. Who knows, it may adapt to hang with the scat.

Keep the pics coming... I think I'll post some.

They are mollies, so they aren't the centerpiece to the tank. I will either sell them or make them breeders down the line, but they only live about 2 years anyways so when the dat is bigger it won't be a problem. The puffers are extremely well fed, so don't worry, they always looked puffed up! My scat and mono school together. They are buddies haha.

:WHOA: nice mono and scad looking good...:nilly: but most of all i lke your sea catfish:naughty:

The sea cat is eating whole frozen silversides that are 1.5-2 inches long now, he is so awesome. Definatly one of my favorite fish!

Get more monos, it will look better.

I would love to, but in a 75 you are limited in space, and a shoal of monos won't fit. I would love to have a MONSTER scat/mono/catfish tank. Like 500 plus gallons with a shoal of each in saltwater. Right now this is what I have to work with, but it's ok. The mono and the scat shoal together, and the killies shoal together, and the puffers hang together, the mollies are always doing what mollies do (breeding) and everyone else just eats and eats!
