Yes....that Polypterus endlicheri congicus is only about 7 inches long (or a little less) and still has the vestiges of its external gills.

Sorry guys I have no idea why they are so big if mayb somebody could resize them or something that would be nice.
 
If you first put the pics into your gallery...

you can then just copy and paste the tag in the forum, and the pic will appear at a normal size.
Pretty much it automatically converts it to a smaller pic for you.
