already did that, i wanted to see the fish that MFK members had.here you go these pics are from I pair I had over ayear ago they were really tough to begin with but when they spawned the female would become hyper agressive and do maximum damage to the male and all other tankmates.

This pair is prolific, the male changes colors constantly he is 10"+ the female is 8". I removed most of the wigglers from the white pot to a grow out tank and the fry from previous spawns grow at a fast rate.
There are alot of different coloured Bifas from different river systems out there. Maybe you can find out where the lfs bifas have come from, a local breeder or a wholesaler and if they are from WC stock etc. If they cant tell you anything about them it will be pot luck as to what colour they will be as adults. Personally I wouldnt buy them, I like to know what and where my fish come from. There are also quite a few photos from various members posted on MFK and other web sites which will give you some ideas to local and colouration of various Bifas.
