What am I doing wrong? My water is not this green and I can't capture the true color of any of my fish? Soo frustrated please help. I shoot a Nikon D-200 with multiple lenses, I have even tried a polarized lens.

same here.... looks great.

I'm willing to bet the lighting in your tank is 6700K. Take a look and if I'm right, swapping out for some 10000K bulbs will be a nice fix.

to be honest pic quality is great but is heaps green, once you get that fixed your gonna be taking quality pics mate.

Use the White Balance Function. Cameras record light that the human eye is less sensitive to. Take a large piece of White plastic and put it in the tank under the aquarium light. Use the cameras white balance function by aiming at the board and filling the full frame with the white board. Then the camera will record White as True White.
