Sup MFK,
Got my camera working again and thought I'd show off my old fish, my new fish, and my up and running 40 gallon.
This is my main 75 gallon tank, mainly a Bichir tank.
My Senegal and my Delhezi "cuddling".
My Senegal seems to like interacting with the other fish. This here's my new Ropefish, he's already over a foot, dwarfing my much smaller one.
He seems to like posing. He stopped directly in front of the glass for me for a good minute once I got my camera out lol.
Probably the best picture I could get of my 3" Ornate. He's usually too busy swimming about being too bold and curious for his own good.
He's doing a lot better now though. He's overcome the problems he had with one of his external gills being bitten off and his eye cloud is completely gone. Thanks to everyone who helped me out a week ago.
(Also, my fish apparently like to cuddle.)
(My fish also get jealous.)
Here's my little 20 gallon tank I set up just for my Papav Crayfish.
Even though he's missing a claw and three legs, he's still a tough little guy. I'm currently awaiting his next molt.
And finally, here's my wide 40 gallon. I ended up not even doing the Maine Lobster thing because I couldn't afford it at all .
Damn bills, (AND GAS!), someday though...
For now, I'm going to put half of the fish from my 75 gallon into this tank. Currently, I'm helping it cycle along with some really cheap fish I found today at a local fish farm.
They're still getting used to their new environment. They're doing well so far.
These two Convicts were really nice. They're each almost 4" long and costed me a total of 3 bucks.
I also got 4 of these Jewel Cichlids. They're each almost as big as the Convicts.
Sorry for the crappy pic, but she was a bit camera shy.
It was in the tank with the Jewels and Convicts and I ended up getting her too. This molly is almost 3" and looks pregnant. I'm most likely going separate it after it settles in within the coming days.
The guy I know there threw this in for 3 more bucks. It was again from the same tank but he didn't know what it was so I was hoping you guys could ID it for me. Possibly a kind of Characin?
