I took a ton of pictures of my tiger barbs this morning and as I go through them I find this really nice one... that was photo bombed by the front fish.
Taking pictures of the little fish is real hard. I never do it because it's usually a huge waste of time haha. Any of you guys or girls ever try to get pictures of their dithers?

Nice barbs, probably my 2nd fave type of fish lol; I used to try and take pics of them, once they get big and stocky they look superb

Thanks. I've had them for a while and they really haven't grown. Not sure what their growth rate is like but I think I stunted them.

I just had this problem last night when trying to take some good pics of my clown barbs and Odessa barbs. I'm going to have to get out my tripod and digital camera. My phone camera just won't cut it with these fast moving fish.

I think if the tank was better lit, it would be easier. But they're so used to the dim lighting anytime I mess with it they freak out

I agree! Taking pics of little fish is hard because they usually come out as blurs since they're always on the move or the pic really doesn't do them justice. I've tried to take pics of my rummies, cardinals and Dennison barbs. They are so beautiful but they just don't shine in a pic like they do in person.

Smaller fish are hard to get.schooling barbs could be the worst! I tried with filament barbs but gave up.one tip is use the burst mode.try the sports setting also
