Some friends of mine went down to Paynes Prairie and went for a hike/ took some pictures. I think some of them turned out pretty good so let me know what you guys think. I am trying to get better with photography so any comments or criticism are welcome.

very cool, do you mind if i use "treetop ghosts" as a wallpaper?

not at all. go right ahead.

HDR. I have been experimenting with it a lot lately so a few of the pics from above are HDR. All of them were taken with a cannon s90 point and shoot that I love.

I love Paynes Prairie, my family lives in Gainesville so I'm up there all the time its about a hour drive. Also my favorite LFS is there Aquatropics :] I get 90% of my stock there.

Amazing shots by the way

cool! I was offered a job there twice. They have nice animals but I dont want to work for them... Next time you are up you should check out hogtown herps next door. It is owned by a few buddies of mine and has some awesome reptiles.

Hahaha, I actually go there EVERY time I'm in G-ville, last time I was there I was really lovin' the big iggy who just roams around sometimes. I also frequent Rowdy Reptiles on 34th before Aquatropics, I think they may have changed the name tho :] I don't need any more pets I already have a zoo, but I love to look and hold. But awesome its nice to know theres a fellow MFKer near by.

Many terrific photo's. Especially of the trees. One photo that puzzles me is #7. The one with the pink cloud in the sky. What happen to cause this effect?
