I returned home, so now I can enjoy my fishroom once again...Here is the startup folks...Tank on the left is a 125g, tank on the right is a 100g...For the past 3 months, both have been cycling with Convict cichlids...It is time for some monsters to take up residence...I also guarantee you will see more tanks in the upcoming future...Enjoy.....

This DIY cost less than a $60....Cabinet and "sump" bought at Target...Top drawer contains filter floss....Middle drawer holds bio-balls....Bottom(third) drawer holds scrubbies....I tossed in a few pond snails in the sump and bio-ball compartment...

I drilled a small hole in the front left corner for the outake....I also made a spray bar for it....

My first overflow...Took me awhile to figure the best way to"balance" the water during water changes...

piranhas?

Saw your sig had to ask..

I'm more of a pygo-man than a serra-loner....WHen I think of p's, I think of a massive shoal lazily hanging out than snapping awake only to swarm on food....

Bigger pics would be nice. Those are too tiny to make out anything

I've thought of building a filter using those stack bins.
