Since two months ago I have two Channa Micropeltes. I think they are not that bad as the media suspects. The first weeks I fed them golfishes, total of 22 pcs size 2'-3". The channa's had that time a length approx. of 7"-8". Two months later they have consumed 22 goldfishes, 36 roaches 5", 1 roach of 8", some frozen food and mussels during that time and have a length of 14". Now I have to change the tank 1 mtr for a bigger one 1.5 mtr. Later on I try to get a tank of 2-2.5mtr.
In the beginning they jumped out of the tank twice, after that it didn't happen anymore. In the future I like to have a couple Channa Argus but will see that at that time.
