Is the coloration different in wild fish?

yeah, in some cases. but not that documented really, i think wild specimens are more drab looking. some have a snake-skin sort of pattern going along the scales if you look very closely

That's certainly is one HUGE aro. Is it true they grow bigger in the wild? My guess is they do.
