90-100% of the caecilians in the trade are Lacey Act violations due to the regulations in their native countries...

You could break the freaking Lacey act by going to the produce shop... I doubt there is anyone remaining in this country that has not broken some obscure Lacey Act rule...Not an exaggeration either- there are some insane point in that act like if you buy a specific type of pineapple out of season it is a violation (not that anyone ever enforces that crap).
That being said- I can say that this one was obtained legally on the shops behalf.
Okay cool. I have wanted one for a long time, but the ones I always came across were a bit sketchy to say the least.
