pictus cat eggs!!!

my pictus cats desided to breed in the 55g at my girlfriends house. its got african cichlids and some black convicts in it.

think the eggs will make it? the cats are guarding them quite well, the dug out a hole in the corner and are patroling around it.

are they really pimelodus pictus?

if so, thats truly incredible, thats one of the rarest happenings in the fish keeping hobby. i know that the vast majority of the ones in stores are still wild caught.

nope, i got home from the home depot tonight from picking up stuff for a stand for another tank so i could move the cats and the eggs to their own tank... and the eggs are gone..... ill still move the cats, hopefully they will try again.

ill post pics of the suspected future parents when i get a chance
