I am looking for some active bottom dwellers to put in my 75 which has a small GT and several giant danios. Would pictus catfish (pimelodus pictus) work? What about 4 line pictus? how big are those?
Any other fish I could get? I might get a raphael or 2, but I've heard they aren't very active during the day.

I've got two pictus cats in with my GT's in my 90

What are they like? Active during the day?

Yes, they are very active. I had three at one time but they killed the weakest of the three. I would recommend getting one if you are lookin at keeping a smaller cat.

Should be fine... How aggressive id the GT?

Yea, depends on the aggression. I had some pictus's in with my uro and she mangled them. They are doing much better in the mbuna tank.
Also, some say they are schooling fish but mine fight whenever they come across eachother. Therefore i think one is fine on it's own.

I'm not sure about the GT's aggression. He has never had tankmates, other than a few giant danios, which he ignores most of the time. Only 4 inches right now.

get them i got five and put them with two texas cichlid. Mine school together and add alot of life to the tank. Each fish has the own personality but for the most part green terrors are not that aggressive at all . So they should be fine with your gt and get them
