Pictus Catfish barbel sharpness

So, ive been reading about Pictus Catfish lately and i was thinking about buying some, my only query is (and this may seem like a stupid question) are their barbels sharp enough to cut off a finger? Yes, i know its stupid but this is the kind of stuff that keeps me awake at night!

Definitely not. But their fins are really sharp and get cought in nets

no way... they have sharp dorsal fins and pectoral fins...

It's not the barbels it's the spines in the pectoral fins and dorsal fins. The don't really cut so much as stab. There is also a mild venom from those pectoral fins. No permanent damage but you won't be very happy for a few hours.
