Pictus Catfish compatibility?

My 55 is currently cycling and the stock list i've planned was this:


1 Senegal Bichir
1 Jack Dempsey


Can I put 3 Pictus Cats in there as well?

The JD will harass or kill the bichir. I would ditch the cichlid and cats and add more bichirs.

How about:

I think it would be more than fine. bare in mind you could swap the JD for a more peaceful fish like a severum. then you get your cichlid, bichir and some pictus cats!
I've kept aggressive cichlids with bichirs before and they can and will kill them if they snap. but they seem to get on well if you get the cichlid small and he grows up with the bichirs. If i was you thought I would just go with a more peacefull species
