Pictus final debate

So how big does a pictus get? My research says 5" max. But the lfs guy swears they will hit 8" easy..... Plus how fast do they grow I put them with a school of loaches. Pictus is 2-3" loaches are about 1 1/2-2".

I'd say 6" would be the absolute max.

Well, in the video, i'd estimate the growth rate is 4" after 1 year 3 months, although these results could be changed drastically, if the feeding schedules, and water changes were increased, and the tank size.

Actually there's a couple of 3"ish loaches in the video. I wouldn't expect any problems though..

I would agree around 6"
