Piebald / Xanthic Climbing Perches ?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
15 years ago, they were a few dollars. Obviously that's not the case now, since they were at pet stores.
I really have no idea of the range they may or may not be available at today - if you could PM me an idea of the approx. price they may be at these days, that would give us a starting point.
Your albino ladyfish are much, much rarer, and tougher to get/breed, I am sure - and those are $20. I can't imagine they would be much more than that.
Smaller, the better. Thanks!

Hi,
You mention not being able to "just" order them. Do you know where they can be found? I assume that if anybody knows where, you would know.
Thanks!

common climbing perch are a dime a dozen. the piebald and gold ones are wild caught and only a few each year, there is no way to get them or get them for cheap. unless someone breeds them, i don't think you'll find them ever.

I didn't realize they weren't being farmed right along with the wild ones. Makes sense.
I guess it's one of those fish that we've both had in the past, but not anymore. Please do let me know if you come across any. Thanks!

Any luck ? I hope you don't think I'm just fishing. Thanks

they'd have to come from an order of Indian fish and they would have to find a few first, which is once in a year or less. So there are no immediate plans or availability for this to happen and when it does, the price will be very high, since it would be a wild variation fish.

Thanks for getting back to me - that works for me. Please do let me know when this can happen.
Thanks!

is there a price limit on how much you'd want to pay for a fish like this? I've received some pinkish orange ones, and some mottled looking ones in the past. How many do you want or would you need? If I only got one would you still be interested in it? if you want you can email me direct at amazonaq@gmail.com
