Has any one heard of the Pikachu Flowerhorn? I believe I read somewhere that the breed had some convict blood in it and stayed convict sized. I also read that this breed is now extinct :(
I saw a picture of what was supposedly a pikachu FH and it looked like it had a lot of vieja in it.
 
yeah I read about that. Its something some guy in indonesia made by crossing flowerhorn with pink convicts for a couple generations.
the Idea was to reduce the size of the flowerhorn while still retaining the colour and KOk.

Dosen't look like he really got the size reduced though, from what I've seen the results of crossing amphilophus or fh with convict is often just a larger convict or a flowerhorn with stripes... this is proabbably just the MP of the bunch

could be a breed though, but Its definateley not something people are passing around anymore.
It would be more likley to breed this yourself, given the nature of the convicts.
It would be cool to try it with some blue HRP though.
 
If I ever get a good FH Ill try making one with my sajicas :) The only LFS around me that sometimes get Flowerhorn is shutting down the 30th. :(
