So yesterday i moves my 2 tsn and planiceps in with my ven pike. I was watching him today and hes moving them around and trying to hide under them. The cats dont seem to mind but the pike is acting so weird. All i have in the tank is sand. Also I went to feed them and the pike who is usually a glutton seemed disinterested by the food. Any ideas what is going on?

Give him a few days to weeks. He's most likely adjusting to the tank and the tankmates.

i had a johanna pike that didn't eat much like he used to when i transfered him to another tank, he can't seem to settle down in that tank with its tankmates and surrounding so i transfered him to yet another tank and as soon as he was released he was eating a lot like he used to so, it may just need more time to settle down but mine seems to not like where he was so i had no choice but to move him else where :)

You didn't move the pike right? You moved the fish in WITH the pike? The pike was showing aggression towards the TSN and planiceps then. They are new tankmates in ITS territory. Lucky they weren't killed as pikes can be ruthless. I've seen them drag oscars, jags, red devils, festae, salvini and severums around by their tail or fin because they didn't like them. I wouldn't keep the pike with them for long though, its too small and the cats get to big. Even a full grown ven. is still at risk with those huge mouths...
