hi,could a pike cichlid and a hepsetus odoe work????not sure what pike cichlid it is,sorry.tank is a 100 gallon.other tankmates are a senegal,delhezi,2 x jack dempseys plus the odoe.many thanks mark.

Don't get the pike too small, or too big. Try to get it close to the odoe in size. That shouldn't be a problem...its the polys. i am concerned about, as the pike might try to include them in the diet if they are too small and visa versa. Give it a try though! :D

i would say they would be fine, just make sure there close to the same size

gabautista is running a couple of 6'' odoes in a 110 with his 10-12'' johanna or sp.venezuela or whatever it is and I think that its all good.

I got a cobra, odoe and bichirs in my 120 with no probs.
Odoe is top, Cobra mid to bottom and bichirs bottom.
odoe only beefs with a pbass. so if ya see a gash, its most likely from the Odoe...

u just have to remember that pikes are alot different from one to the next and really unpredictable...for example i have a 9 inch pike that hangs out under a piece of drift wood with a 3 inch pictus cat fish and there like buddies.... hangin out together all the time.....yet this pike will destroy ANY feeder in like 0.2 of a second when put in the tank...destroying everything in its path??....But im sure your situation will work fine

hi,i got a 5 inch pike today.not sure what type though.i'll post some pics when its settled in.any websites etc where there are loads of pics of pike cichlids???
