Pike Cichlid and Red Devil

Picked up an alright sized Red Devil who looks prego. Maybe you can tell me from a picture or tell me if its male or female. I also picked up some type of Pike Cichlid, maybe you can tell me what type it is as well. Thanks!

pike looks like a venny pike.

pike is a venny and it grows wayyyyyyyy faster than your red devil and prob end up beatin the snot out of him in a small tank

Yes they are and they do grow fast and mine topped off at 14in before he died

Thanks everyone. I know you all say they are mean but I've seen no aggression from the pike or the red devil yet . They are in a 110 so they should be ok for a while

And I got the pike for $18 and the Red Devil for $8 good deals? Pikes about 7" Red devils about 4-5"

like most cichlids the pike can snap. Mine was fine for months and then he just got mean. Good luck
