pike cichlid and terror tankmates

I have a pike cichlid and green terror. I was wondering if there were any tankmates that wont get killed or kill them. The pike is 5"-6" and the terror 4"-5". I want an animal that is small. like -2" like a crayfish or something. a snail. BUT snails breed like crazy. and i dont want it to eat plants. cause i have live plants. thanks. sorry for being picky.
 
how big is he? I mean the pleco and the terror. how big do high fins get. anyone else?
 
Nerite snails won't breed in fresh water,and apple snails lay eggs above the water line so they are easily removed.Neither eats plants.
 
Small fish are going to get eaten.

I have a delhezi bichir with my GT and Crenicichla menezesi, they do great together.
 
can i throw in a crayfish? and what could i put in a 55 gallon with those 2. (for life)
 
i guess you can have crayfish but you would need a good hiding spot for them. and if you have rotting plant then mostlikely they will eat it. and another thing you have to think about is crayfish might grab your fish while there sleeping. im not sure if they will go after a big fish but just do some more research. Google?
