Has anyone read this yet. Its the best article Ive ever seen in TFH. They write about catching and collecting 5 or 6 different species in Uruguay, including celidochilus. It aint giving any info that we dont already know, but it paints a cool picture on the collection process as well as the habitat they live in as wild fish. Did you know that there are crens in every river in Uruguay and that wild pikes can be caught in the city lakes in the capital city, Montevideo??? pretty cool......

is this the most recent issue?
Im not sure if it is... I didnt buy it , just read the article that I wanted to read at the newsstand. I dont really like the mag actually. Waaaay too much emphasis on salt water fish and really generic info .

Yes, current issue with a turtle on the cover. And yes pikes are everywhere in Uruguay, Harder to catch than the Gymnos, but very common, Some places have 4-5 species in the same river. I have one spot left open for the Dec. trip this year, You can catch your own and we are going specifically for Celidochilus. http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=122016
