Could you keep any type of pike cichlids with rays?

Cheers

no, cichlids are aggressive..

It is possible, just depends on the species and personality of the pike. The more expensive the ray, the more the risk, though. What size tank and what other fish?

6x2x2 but i will be upgrading when my stingers get bigger. they are around 8inch now. and there are no other fish in the tank

This is a blanket statement and an unfair assumption. I keep cichlids...a midas even, one of the more aggressive varieties with my rays and haven't had a problem in the last 10 months.

:iagree: I have two pikes with my bichir who also share the bottom of the tank and they get along quite well....

Had Venezuelans with rays forever

something like a johanna would be a good place to start IMO since they don't get too big or too small and are fairly easy to find.
