I wouldnt mind getting a few pike cichlids for my tank it is 140g and has
breeding pair of angels,
8x clown loaches(all around 6")
1x bgk(about 9")
1x fire eel (12")
1x senegal bichir(10")
2x synodontis eupterus (8")
I would quite like one of the medium sized ones (6-12")

Crenicichla sveni
Crenicichla lucius
Crenicichla anthurus
Crenicichla proteus

Those are some of the cooler Saxatilis pikes. The first two are fairly common, although the last ones you may have to look a little harder. Definitely stick with Saxatilis pikes though, as they will just work out better in your tank set up! :)

As far as i know the lfs has tapajos and xingu orange as well as a couple of others what about these 2.

Well, both of those are Lugubris group pikes, so they are going to get larger, and be more aggressive.

Personally, if you can afford it, I'd get a group of three or more of the Crenicichla sp. 'tapajos', if thats what they really are. :) If they are tapajos, they are either sp. 'tapajos I' or sp. 'tapajos II' both of which species are VERY attractive as adults. :)
