Pike Compressiceps not eating.

I recently brought a dwarf pike and he was only eating frozen bloodworm (and plenty of it) but now he just seems to spit it out.

I have tried him with dried foods and he has no interest in that, and also frozen bloodworm and shrimp he shows a lot of interest in it but just spits it out now.

I know he is just being fussy as he is swimming up and down the glass begging for food as soon as he see's me but he doesnt seem to take anything down any more?

Anyone else experienced this? If so any ideas how to get round it?

I would say be patient for now. Don't overfeed either.
 
check to see if you have long white stringy poop.
 
Iv not checked to see if any tetras are missing but to be fair they are probably half the size of him and I dont think they would fit in his mouth.

What I dont understand is his keenness to eat but he just spits the food out. I have had fish not eat before and its obvious as they dont even show an interest in food....this guy gets lively when I go to the tank!?

Try something live like guppies to see if he will actually eat.
