my lent fell on the floor the other day and was there for a while was a bit dry. Luckily he is doing fine now (2 days later) and eating like he always does, but the side he was laying on has lost alot of its color. I'm not worried so much about its health, but will his pattern come back and is there anything I can do to speed up the healing?

I'd stop the salt, its stressed enough as it is. How is its eye? Is the retna crushed or is it normal? It might take it a few weeks, but it should gradually come back. Don't stress if it doesn't come back as strong and as colorful as it was before.
