cool, thanks guys. These are the only pikes available up here most of the time.. the LFS just labels them "pike cichlids" or "amazon pike cichlids".
 
Look at the Adult pics of these guys, they are a very nice looking species, you will not be dissappointed, just have to wait till they start to mature, if there are more, get a few if they are your only option.....maybe you'll get lucky and end up with a pair.
 
That's Cr. lucius. For some reason everyone jumps on the Sveni bandwagon when someone has a Saxatilis-group pike and asks for an ID. Cr. sveni has an LARGE ocellated humeral spot that is ABOVE the lateral black band and a conspicuous undulating pattern down the length of the body.
