Yeah like with all large cichlids each fish has its own personality pikes are not whimps some can be very aggressive Venezualas usually don't get very aggressive but will stand up for them selfs

nice lookin venz, hope the barra thing gets sorted out. my venz gets its butt kicked by my jag half his length, but there both babies and he oughta grow out of that quickly. doesnt have anywhere near the aggro attitude that my sveni male has.

my dominant barra ate the pike!
he was swallowed til only the tail was sticking out.
i had to net the barra out,grab the pike by the tail,and pull him out of the barra!
i shouldve taken pics!
hope this guy makes it...
