I bought four pikes at LFS identified as "acutirostris" One of the four has developed the spot in the dorsal. It is the smallest of the four. Only a couple of inches. What is it?
He spends most of his time near the top of the tank. I know it's not a good picture, but he/she also has a lot of red along the bottom of the dorsal fin.
So...Belly Crawler it is. Frustrating trying to get pikes. The LFS got these in from Segrest as Acutirostris. After growing them up for a couple of months it is obvious that 2 and maybe 3 are Belly Crawlers. Thanks for the help folks.
