PVC is definately a great idea! I had PVC in ALL my pike tanks, its a life saver a lot of the time...
Mine would always hide behind the plants, never in the caves, I added 3 sevs, and a GT, he never hides at all now. Also has grown almost 2 inches in a month as well. Eats freeze dried krill, frozen bloodworms, nightcrawlers, and finally only the ocassional qt feeder. Still working on the Gold and Staple from Hikari, but has not taken them yet. Looks interested though. Let just say he loves his nightcrawlers, he may even kill for them........
