Pike in 150 gallons

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
First off, never let any aquarium fish go into the wild...Super bad mojo, and illegal as hell.
Second...pickeral and northern pike are native fish, and there is a sub forum for those :-)
Third...You could put nearly any SA pike inside of a 150, but it all really depends on what is going into the tank with the pike. Will it be the only fish, are you planning on getting a couple of them? You'll need to get dithers for certain...And most importantly, what kind of pike would you like most of all?

This website will give you a great load of information...Size, photos, some notes on temperment.

I know it doesnt really answer the OP's question, but the only pike you'd have trouble keeping in a 150 long term with those dimensions would be a Veni, because they can get 2' long.

Good luck

Let it go when it gets 2 feet
dude never let a fish go back into the wild that youve kept. it can introduce parasites and diseases that can harm the native fish species.

There are definitely some really nice pikes you could get into a 150. All of them are really unique, I would suggest looking through pics. and researching any that catch your eye :D
