hey all, just registerd here an trying to get my post count up so i can see some dang pictures... my first big tank was a 20gal with an altum angel 6 months ago and eventually i fell for the pikes. harry (altum) is still in the 20 but now i am housing a johanna pike named jack and a saxatilis pike named beans in a 55gal. i gotta say i love these fish, after thinkin the altum had personality i was shown up by the johanna who acted just like a little puppy dog -- hilarious stuff. i named him jack&beans but since getting the saxatilis i decided to split it up and name him beans and leave jack with.. jack. hopefully i can get some pics up, digi is busted but you can imagine, they are pretty fish.

Yeah pikes are the bomb! Wait till you get a really big tank, 100+, and youll like them even more!! Next thing you know you will have many tanks with different pikes in them. And then......

HEY NOW!!! How yaz doing? Great to have yaz in the family! Pull up a chair and have yourself a seatsy. Great times are sure to follow. Definately pleased that you choice to get some Crenicichla, and even more so that you are joinin in on the group here. Not many people keep Crenicichla compared to other cichlids, so we Crenicichlaholics like to stick close together. Pretty soon, if you check here regularly, you'll become one of the gang!
