Begginings of an egg tube in first 2 photos suggest a female. If your serious about breeding then why would you limit yourself to a single male and female?

i think its male try posting in the crenicichla or pike forum peanutpower would know for sure

best way to breed pikes is to get about 5-6 juvies and grow them out and hope a pair forms pikes fight like crazy most of the time when older
