the size tank one would need is monstrous even for this site not to mention the chiller to go along with it. pickerel are a much more realistic fish to keep if you want an esox.

I don't think a chiller would be necessary. I see juvies in the south Umpqua all summer. That river is not cold. Me and a friend went fishing at the forks (where the south meets the north Umpqua) and he caught a 12"-15" in the south. I've only seen them the last 2 or 3 years.
