So I've been wanting a pike for awhile now and since my tank upgrade is coming very soon I have a few questions. My LFS had a Johanna, and from what I've seen available it would be my preference. What's the max size like? Would it be able to deal with 2 Oscars or vice versa?

says 12-14 inches but im pretty sure theres someone on mfk with a bigger than that.i believe there are some people keeping oscars with johannas on here. id make sure the tank is big enough. and the fishes sizes are ok. u can prbably get away with a full grown pike and smaller oscar to start and probably not a smaller pike and larger oscar because of different body sizes. so id be aware of that

they do get bigger than that, but not a whole lot. cichlids together is always a bit of a risk, but they should do fine together. mine did.
12in would be good but 24 might be a little much.... The Os are between 3 and 5 inches right now so size difference wouldn't be too bad.
