Pike problem

I just picked this pike up from a friend and it looks like crap. Swims around fine like nothing is wrong but it looks like something is eating away at it's head and back.

Sad too cause it could be a nice looking pike.

Could it be a fungus or does it look more like HITH. Either way I would say try pimafix, melafix, bump the temp up a lil and add a some salt to the tank. Do a nice water change before you start treatment. Hope this helps.

i dont think its HITH... you wouldnt get it spread to its back and that far down its gill.

id agree with up temp, aquarium salt, pimafix melafix to start. and make sure the water it extremely clean, possibly daily small water changes

Perhaps get clearer close up pics? True fungal infections are rare occurrences. Certainly not fungus.
